As the days go on, we're going to see more and more spoilers for M11.
How do you think the meta will change? Will Vampires be a true Tier 1 deck? Will Baneslayer continue to be a dominating white card?

Hi
Thanks for your offer.
I think it might be time for me to upgrade to Leopard anyway (and thus be able to use 3.8 ).
But thanks again anyway.

3.7 does not include anything to rebuild the spotlight index, that was a 3.8 feature. To my knowledge, no one has made any modifications to Maintenance with the developer files I included with the download. With that said it is possible someone has, but if so the modifications are not supported by me.
If you are just looking for something to rebuild your spotlight index, I would be more then happy to make you a simple program that could do that when you run it.

It's listed as one of the features of your program/script, but not explicitly under the list of actions in 3.7 (unless it's subsumed under one of the more general descriptions).
So…is it part of 3.7? Thanks!
-----Update----
to piggyback on my own question, i think what i'm really looking for is an automator script that includes rebuilding the spotlight index....
is this one of the actions included under "run periodic" in the automatic maintenance in 3.7 (or 3.8?--i'm still using tiger, but going to upgrade to leopard this summer, i'm just trying to learn this stuff in the meantime)
and if not, has some other good (and wise) soul used the developer tools to modify your script, and make it publicly available?
thanks (to anyone) for their help

Sorry for the delay in response...
What version of Maintenance did you download, and what actions did you run?

I recently downloaded and ran Maintenance. For some reason after running the program, Real Player will not run. I open Real Player and it just quits within a minute. I have no idea what might of happened. I tried reinstalling Real Player to no avail. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Maintenance clears the caches under the following locations:
~/Library/Caches/ /Library/Caches/ /System/Library/Caches/

In Onyx there are options to clear system caches, font caches, browser caches, etc. Which ones does Maintenance do? (I'm looking at it as a simple and Automator-able alternative to Onyx.)

HI:
Running OS 10.4.11, soon to upgrade to 10.5.x. My problem is with changing the desk top picture in System Preferences/Desktop and or in i photo 08 7.1.3 /set desktop picture. The same happens in the finder window as well, "change desktop picture" which brings up SP. When you try to change the picture, it shows up in the desktop at SP, the picture shows for a second on the desk top and then a blue screen. The same thing happens at i photo 08. If, I shut down my Mac and re-start it, the desk top will be as I selected before shutting it down while I have the blue screen. Checked Apple discussion and Toad Cellar had an automator for backing up i photo 06 database for use with i photo 08. Could not seem to get that to work however. I did have to re-install Tiger a few months ago, and then update i photo 08 once or twice as it would not let me publish to dot mac. i Photo 08 said there was new software for i08, then the under the apple icon, under update, said the computer was to date. Things seem to be ok now. I did the archive and install Tiger from disk as the "Genius Guys" at the local Apple store said there were some corrupt something or the other.
So for the long winded story, but just wanted to give you some back ground. I did not seem to be able to find anything in support at Apple and or least I could not find it.
Any suggestions how I might resolve this other then restarting the computer and or before I upgrade to leopard?
Thanks for your help.
